Water for Drinking and Cooking : Improve and correct that with Copper Plate
How to Use it
- Dip in water overnight. 8 hours is enough.
- 12 hours is fine, but do not keep beyond 24 hours.
- In morning remove the plate.
- Clean it using lemon or imli paani or tomato along with salt and rinse.
- Let it dry and next night again do same.
- You can treat water any time. 8 hours is required to be effective.
Why Use Copper Plate Water?
- Microbes get killed.
- Water gets nicely structured and in few weeks your body fluids in cells will also get structured. This will improve your overall health.
Avoid Plastics
Stop Plastics in water or food. It passes on nano plastic particle, a big contributor to cancers. Since you can’t totally avoid plastic, minimise its use.
Use good quality Steel bottle and container. Even aluminium is not good. It’s toxic when used for long time. Nervous diseases etc.
But let’s change things slowly over a period of time. First at this stage change your water bottles and glasses, tumbler from Plastic or any fibre like melamine etc to steel or Glass or clay pots or chini mitti i.e ceramic.
Structured Water
- Dip Copper plate for 8 to 10 hours overnight.
- Get structured clean disinfected water. Transfer to mud or steel pot.
- Use this water for drinking and cooking.
- Clean everyday, the copper plate with lemon or tamarind or tomato, gooseberry or any sour liquid like vinegar and rinse.
- Can rub some salt as well to increase polarity and aid cleaning.
- Water kept in copper contact for over few days will retain those germs in water as well. So avoid such long duration ones.

So it seems if water is kept moving, it does affect the growth of germs. One reason could be the oxygen from air that gets added / recirculated into water when it is agitated.
I have seen sellers of fish and when they happen to have live fishes, they fetch them more money. They keep the fish alive in their containers by constant agitation of water. It could have to do with aiding oxygen supply to water.
We can experiment upon a thing even if we lack the tools to measure the microbial changes. Next time I try to set curd overnight, I will put milk in two containers. One usual way of making curd. In the other, dip a copper plate. My guess is that the curd will be of thinner nature in which copper plate dipped during setting.
Copper and Germs
Electric activity of copper can be one reason. I wonder if Copper salts that could be getting formed is also an issue.
