It’s not easy to get out of habits , like coffee and tea, which you may have been used to for years, even if you are trying hard to . So here are some decoctions which can help reduce the cravings and also reduce the withdrawal effects which some may experience ,like headache, mood swings , weakness , inability to carry out daily activities etc. Name in English / Hindi /Kannada/ Telugu 1 Pongemia piñata / Karanj /Honge /Kanuga 2 Castor leaf / Arandi / Haralu / Amudam 3 Tinospora / Giloy / Amrutha balli / Tippateega Process to make the decoctions 1. Wash the leaves in structured water 2.Bring 200 ml water to a boil 3. Tear the leaves and drop them into boiling water 4. Allow to simmer for three to four minutes 5. switch off flame and cover with lid and allow to rest for 5 minutes 6.
