At IIT Delhi, once he got the Best Actor Award in a play (Jhapurjha) in which his role involved not speaking a word, and not moving an inch on the stage!

IIM Ahmedabad is legendary for its exacting academic rigour. Students say they do not find time even to sleep well. While studying full time there, he acted and directed in several classic plays by Ayn Rand, Badal Sarkar, Vijay Tendulkar, Mohan Rakesh, Eugene Ionesco etc. These plays were opened to the public in general, and received media coverage.
