General Approach :
Let’s not jump into things drastically . Let the things change slowly over time. Let the body get used to the changes gradually , unless for e.g. we are convinced that sometimes drastic measures should be taken.
So don’t stop medications. Don’t go for all total millets all of sudden. Nor all the decoctions suddenly. So decoctions can start with once a day . Millet one at a time . ( Let me find out what Dr Khadar Valli suggests )

Take Pickles : Make in Wooden Cold Pressed Oil , Prefer Bull driven , Machine ones next best but Stop using Factory made chemically extracted and refined. Immunity and cleansing effects. Vitamin B, C and gene alteration prevention.
Consume Ferments : Ambali /Khameer , Chaach, Dahi , made out of Cow A2 grass fed milk , or better seed based oil to curd from coconut milk or teel milk or groundnut milk
Sridhanya Millets : Start with the 5 main millets .Cook like Roti or Rice or ferment .Prefer unpolished organic ones.
Kashay : Kadha Use daily . To ensure that grow leaves in own premises.
Ghee : Make or buy . Prefer the one made out of curd
Fruits : Eat as usual . Prefer organic
Vegetables; Consume as usual . Cook in the Ghani Wood cold pressed oils
Cooking Method : Avoid Pressure cooker. Let it cook slowly and soak millets for some hours as per recipe .

Go to Sleep by 8:51 pm to 10 pm & Wake up by 3:51 am to 4:39 am ( Assuming 5:27 as Sunrise Time )

Try to sleep early . The time needs to be set by you as you are in best position to know what works for you. It is important to sleep in complete darkness. An an example the production of melatonin happens only in darkness. If you feel you will need 7 to 8 hours of sleep the time to going to bed can be set based on sunrise in your area. On 30 June 2021 the sunrise at Delhi is at 5:27 am . Each muhurta lasts 48 minutes, and therefore the Brahma muhurta begins 1 hour and 36 minutes before sunrise, and ends 48 minutes before sunrise. Assuming you will need 7 hours of sleep to feel refreshed & rejuvenated for next 17 to 18 hours of wakefulness
If Sunrise is at 5:27 am
So Brahma Muhurtha starts at & Ends at 3:51 am to 4:39 am
It is recommended to wake up in Brahmamurutha. Get निवृत्त with नित्यकर्म and do the Daily साधना – जप, भजन, ध्यान
So Time to start to sleep i s 8:51 pm to 9:39 pm assuming Sun rises at 5:27 am
As such the time to sleep will change throughout year. And an optimum time schedule can be adhered to based on sunset and sunrise times. The Key being Start time of Brahmamuhratha and take that as guide .
Work & Recreation
From 7 am to 10 pm is the time for Work and recreation with breaks for Food time

As per Dr Khadar Millet Protocol For Blood Cancer
Eat food made with structured water, Siridhanya/positive millets, naturally grown vegetables/pulses, sea salt, Ghani/cold pressed oils, and palm jaggery.
Eat Siridhanya as a staple food. One can make all varieties like idli, dosa, rotis, rice items, snacks, and sweet and hot foods using them. Do not mix different millets together. Additionally, avoid using it as multigrain flour. Each Siridhanya is unique and helps in curing our body when taken individually.
Siridhanya : Is a group of five positive millets namely Foxtail, Little, Kodo, Barnyard, and Browntop millets together are called Siridhanya.
What not to eat?
Stop consumption of rice, wheat, non-vegetarian food, maida (all-purpose flour), tea, coffee, sugar, A1 (jersey) milk, refined oils, health drinks (Bournvita/ Horlicks/ Complan etc), Indian cottage cheese (paneer), soya, packaged and junk food (chocolates, ice creams, cool drinks, pizzas, burgers etc).

How to prepare kashaya?
Take 150 to 200 ml of structured water and allow it to boil. Add leaves in the boiling water and leave it for four minutes. Turn off the flame and close the vessel with a lid for 2 minutes. Strain the mixture and drink the ‘kashaya’ warm or at room temperature. Consume this ‘Kashaya’ 2 or 3 times daily. ‘Kashayas’ should be consumed once in the morning on an empty stomach, the second time in the afternoon, and the third time in the evening one hour before dinner. Note on the amount of leaves: big leaves like peepal and pongamia 3 to 4 (cut the big leaves into small pieces); small leaves like pudina and methi half a fistful.

How to make structured water?
Store water in a steel or clay pot with a copper plate immersed in it for 7 hours or overnight. Use this water the next day for all cooking and drinking purposes. A copper plate helps in removing plastic nano-particles and other impurities from water. The copper plate should be cleaned every day using tamarind or lemon and salt.

A) Dip Copper plate for 8 to 10 hours overnight
B) Get Structured Clean disinfected water . Transfer to mud or steel pot
C) Use this water for drinking, cooking.
D) Clean everyday the copper plate with lemon or tamarind or tomato , gooseberry or any sour liquid like vinegar and rinse.
Water kept in copper contact for over few days will keep those germs in water as well. So avoid.

What about milk products?
Never consume milk directly even if it is desi cow (A2) milk instead use desi cow (A2) milk for making curd, buttermilk, and ghee. One can even extract milk at home by using sesame seeds, groundnuts, finger millet, coconut, and safflower seeds. Milk extracted from these grains and seeds can also be used to make curd.
What about oils?
Use only wooden ghani (bull-driven) oils extracted from groundnuts, safflower, sesame, and coconut and store them in glass jars. As they are cold pressed, the nutrients are preserved.
What about sugar/sweetener?
Use palm jaggery as a sweetener instead of sugar and sugarcane jaggery (not suggested for sugar patients). Avoid the use of artificial sweeteners.
Which utensils to use for cooking?
Use stainless steel (Salem steel 304) or clay utensils for cooking. Use a cast iron griddle for making chapattis and dosa. Avoid using a pressure cooker.
How to exercise?
Walk for at least 1.5 hours daily. If you experience trouble while walking, massage well with sesame oil.
How long to meditate?
Meditate for at least 10 to 15 minutes daily.
How and when to sleep?
Sleep in total darkness without any lights for a good and undisturbed sleep. Wake up before sunrise, complete dinner by sunset, and sleep by 9 p.m.
How to get vitamin D if you are not exposed to sunlight or short of sunlight?
Mushrooms have a compound called “Ergosterol”. When they are exposed to sunlight light or sun dried, significant amounts of vitamin D is produced. Sun dried mushrooms should be consumed after soaking them for a couple of hours (preferably 7 to 8 hours) along with the soaked water in the form of soup or curry.

Effectively From 10 pm to 7 am is A time for Self -Rejuvenation time . Sleep, Hygiene of Body and Mind and Movement of Body and Mind through morning walk
Thus from 7 am to 10 pm is the Time we can afford to Offer to World or Self in way we may like without hurting our body and mind.
Out of above 15 hours , 1 hour may be reserved for eating and drinking and
Effectively we are still left with 14 hours to devote to work
Let us work mindfully , gain the skills and proficiency in our work, use proper tools and learn to gain the co-operation of our fellow beings . This will reduce our needless efforts in work.
14 hours devoted to work & may be some amount of recreation is a good amount of time to get much work done if we learn to focus on our pursuits . This is possible further when we have clarity of our purpose and purposes.

If indeed they were scientifically done, they won’t have to change conclusions every few months of decades . No path is perfect and it will be easy to pick holes in any path and try to prove why the chosen path will not work.
But in this case of Dr Khadar Valli ,he says he has treated thousands of cases. , rather they have got cured through the Life style changes he suggested and has been doing this for 20 years.
So how it works what is the science behind what he says can be an interesting and useful expenditure of time. But that will either reinforce our views or sow seeds of doubt . In case of later , that will only be detrimental to our action steps.
The only doubt we may have is – Is he telling the truth ? Is he simply boasting and there are no such patients or not as many who have been cured ?
Well that may be, though I doubt it .
So unless we have reasons to believe he did not help cure , we may as well with full confidence proceed with the intervention and tweak our lifestyle – sleep wake time and staple diet change .
He is doing this and letting the bat do the talking for 20 years and yet there are people who leave no stone unturned to disprove the very basis of his approach .

Wheat has about 20 mcg per 100 gm and rice about 10 mcg . My intake of Rice is 300 gm if I take three meals and so is wheat if I take three meals a day .
So The maximum I get is 30 to 60 mcg from my staple food . The rest I have to make up through other food items
E.g If I take 200 gm potato ( large size is 100 gm or more ) or 2 regular banana , I will have my Iodine sufficiency even without any staple food
And If I eat only wheat and rice and nothing else , I will be daily short of iodine by 50 to 60 %
So why at all the question of staple at all come here . Staple is for removing hunger and rest all are required in trace amounts and if one take a variety of food , we have high chance of ingesting those minerals and vitamins.
So even if they had been taking wheat and rice and NOT PEARL Millet , they would have been deficient

About Life & Healing
Only a tint fraction of our life is in our conscious control. We may breathe in and breathe out for few moments consciously. We may gulp down the water consciously. We may bite and chew consciously. We may even learn to vomit out what we have eaten. Once the air, water, food goes down the throat , most of us have little control over what happens thereafter. Subconscious processes within our body, mind, intellect takes over. Everything thereafter happens as if automatically. A Siddha Yogi may perhaps take control over the processes. We are no siddhas and let us be at the moment content with the knowledge that we may let them do the work for us well enough and learn how to mess with them . We don’t know much to bring out of automatic mode and control as per our will. Let us then do what best we can- learn to let them run at peace – through our food and lifestyle.
We can keep counting all life and still not be done with the various chemicals, sounds, vibrations, electrical, physical mental processes our body utilises or produces with the aid of which our Atma gets the life process going within the body.
We can keep counting the Mango trees, the varieties of them,study their roots, leaves, barks etc . For some that may be of value. But for a vast majority of us the best use of mango we can do is to eat it, enjoy the taste and get nourished and move on to other pursuits of life that matter to us. In our case – Do productive work, be a service to society our of love or necessity or compelled by our nature or by those who control us or we allow to control us and in turn we will be allowed to exist and thrive i.e. earn a living and perhaps a little bit of luxury as well, realise the purpose for which I or you have been born , be of assistance to our next generation and when we have lived our lives, achieved or realised our purpose, cheerfully leave the body and discard as old worn out garment of no use to us any more.
But we will refuse to let this body go to dust before we have achieved our Life’s Purpose through this body itself . That life’s purpose is a matter of discovery for each individual. If we get bogged down with efforts in making a living, eating , drinking taking care of world, we will have little energy and time left to fulfil our lives’ purpose .
There is a power behind this Universe – Consisting of seemingly inert matter and consciousness that exists in living beings. Call that God. Call that TAT Call that SAT, Call that Brahma . Call that anything. It does not matter much. What matters in this issue about health is this – The same entity that caused this body of mine to be formed , the same consciousness that pervades the whole universe , does know how to heal the body and mind too. The same consciousness collects the materials and energy from universe and arranges it in form of our body ,and keeps it alive , rejuvenates it, preserves it.
Our job is to let the body and mind do it’s thing and not mess too much with it.

Just 4 things : Moderation in Food, Work, Recreation and Sleep.
नात्यश्नतस्तु योगोऽस्ति न चैकान्तमनश्नतः।
नात्यश्नतस्तु योगोऽस्ति न चैकान्तमनश्नतः। न चातिस्वप्नशीलस्य जाग्रतो नैव चार्जुन।।6.16।।
युक्ताहारविहारस्य युक्तचेष्टस्य कर्मसु। युक्तस्वप्नावबोधस्य योगो भवति दुःखहा।।6.17।।
6.16 O Arjuna, Yoga na asti, is not; atiasnatah, for one who eats too much, for one who eats food more than his capacity; na ca, nor is Yoga; anasnatah, for one who does not eat; ekantam, at all. This accords with the Vedic text, ‘As is well known, if one eats that much food which is within one’s capacity, then it sustains him, it does not hurt him; that which is more, it harms him; that which is less, it does not sustain him’ (Sa. Br.; Bo. Sm. 2.7.22). Therefore, a yogi should not eat food more or less than what is suitable for him. Or the meaning is that Yoga is not for one who eats more food than what is prescribed for a yogi in the scriptures on Yoga. Indeed, the antity has been mentioned in, ‘One half of the stomach is to be filled with food including curries; the third arter is to be filled with water; but the fourth arter is to be left for the movement of air,’ etc. Similarly, Yoga is not for ati svapna-silasya, one who habitually sleeps too long; and Yoga is na eva, surely not; jagratah, for one who keeps awake too long. How, again, does Yoga become possibel? This is being stated:
6.17 Yogah bhavati, Yoga becomes; duhkha-ha, a destroyer of sorrow-that which destroys (hanti) all sorrows (duhkhani)-, i.e., Yoga destroys all worldly sorrows; yukta-ahara-viharasya, of one whose eating and movements are regulated- ahara (lit. food) means all that is gathered in, [According to the Commentator, ahara, which also means food, includes mental ‘food as well. See Ch. 7.26.2.-Tr.] and vihara means moving about, walking; one for whom these two are regulated (yukta) is yukta-ahara-vihara-; and also yukta-cestasya, of one whose effort (cesta) is moderate (yukta); karmasu, in works; similarly, yukta-svapna-avabodhasya, of one whose sleep (svapna) and wakefulness (avabodha) are temperate (yukta), have regulated periods. To him whose eating and movements are regulated, whose effort in work is moderate, whose sleep and wakefulness are temperate, Yoga becomes a destroyer of sorrows. When does a man become concentrated? That is being presently stated:

Erratic Sleep and wakefulness अतिस्वप्नशीलस्य – नैव च अतिमात्रं जाग्रतो Excess Food or Starved for Right food न अत्यश्नतः , न च एकान्तम् अनश्नतः
Effectively we will take care of
आहारः – What we take in – Food ,Water, Air, Thoughts – Let these tend towards purity and right for us. Let us avoid toxic inputs .
विहारः – Moving around , body and mind. Let it be in moderation.
चेष्टस्य कर्मसु – Let our Efforts in Work be Not be excessive to tire us beyond repair . Tiredness from which we don’t recuperate on moment to moment or at least within the 24 hours. योगः कर्मसु कौशलम् – When we chose a work as per our nature, or make our nature suited to work , gain proficiency , our चेष्टा ( effort will not be too much ) . We will work spontaneously.
स्वप्नावबोधस्य – Our sleep and wakefulness cycles. Let that not be neglected – too much or too little of either .
