Our namaskars and good wishes to all of you.

We are glad to announce that Revered Swami Pitamabaranandaji Maharaj, a senior monk of the Ramakrishna Order with exceptional erudition in Vedanta and Sri Ramakrishna Bhavadhara, has kindly agreed to deliver talks on Sri Shankaracharya—His Life and Teachings on 18, 19, and 20 October 2020 from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

We invite all of you to attend this talk.

We request the meeting attendees to refrain from interrupting the speaker when he is speaking. Questions are welcome. The attendees can ask questions through chat, or they may send us their questions to the following email ID: [email protected]. Those who are sending their questions through email should do so within two hours of the class. Your questions will be forwarded to the speaker who will address them on the next day. We request the attendees to strictly restrict their questions to the main topic of discussion.

After the three-day talk, all the talks will be uploaded on Advaita Ashrama’s YouTube channel.

Pranam Swamiji, St Thomas, direct disciple of Jesus Christ is supposed to have come to Malayattoor which is very near Kalady. Mostly the converts to Christianity at this point was from Nampudiri- the caste in which Sankaracharya was born. Why is there no mention of this new religion at all in his teachings – considering that the teachings were quite different from that of Vedic religion. Could it be that Sankaracharya’s time was before Christ
