Background : RK Mission , Morabadi Ranchi has been conducting Annual Competition for School and College Students for Decades. Special Situations demand special solutions. Due to need for social distancing during the Global Pandemic caused by Corona Virus ( Covid-19) , RK Mission will be conducting this Annual Event in 2020 Online instead of assembling it RKMVERI Premises.
Aim : To Spread the Life giving message of Swamiji amongst the Students.
Method : Annual Competition is conducted. It gives students the opportunity to participate in various events at City Level and win prizes and certificates based on level of performance. The events for which the students have competed in past are 1) Recitation 2) Speech 3) Essay 4) Drawing 5) Music 6) Pratibha Khoj ( Quiz ) . Students are Segregated into various groups based on their Class level. (a) Primary ( Class 3 – 4 ) , (b) Middle – Junior ( Class 5, 6) , (c) Middle-Senior ( Class ( 7, 8) (d) Secondary (Class 9, 10 ) (e) Senior Secondary ( Class11,12 ) . Theme and topics usually centre around Life and Teachings of Swamiji and in Quiz , students are additionally assessed on their general awareness. Prizes are awarded on a special ceremony to Top 3 Winners in each group for various events and to the Best School .
Current Status : ( as on 15 Nov 2020 ) The event is in planning stage for Year 2020-21. It is planned that the Awards will be awarded on National Youth Day ( 12 January 2021 ) .

It has been decided that this year Only Two Events will be held 1) Recitation 2) Quiz
The concerned persons have been assigned the Task to Frame the Quiz Questions. Sri Lokesh Kumar and Sri Prafulla Sio will be taking care of the Website Concerns.

Student to Judge Ratio in Past : 01: 20 approx
In 150 Minutes Three Judge Preside over the event covering 60 students .
Approximate Average is One Judge for 20 Students for each Event
So If we have 5000 Students in an Event We will need 250 Judges
For 50,000 Students , We will need 2500 Judges
So many judges may not be available and if this becomes the constraint, we may have to have events at two levels ( Filter out Top 10 in each group per event at Preliminary Level )
We may consider (a) Peer Review : Students of Class 3, 4 to be Judged by Other Students of Class 9 , 10 and select top 5 or Top 10 (b) School to Conduct at their level and Provide us List of Top 10 in each event for each class

We may consider Booking the site for a month eg from 25 Nov to 24 December 2020 or we may buy for 1 or 3 years even . If we book for long duration , cost will increase but we may then use the website(s) to Organise all future events of Rk Mission eg Youth Conventions, Bhakt Sammelans , Farmers Meet, etc ,
The Decision on One time Need or For All future needs may be arrived based on Cost Involved and Potential Benefits accrued.
Since One of the Stated Missions of RK Math & Mission as per article of association is to Propagate the Message of Ramakrishna Movement , the website can serve as the platform to integrate the various reach out programs as well as a platform where various people may have opportunity to reach out and interact with RK Mission.

Since Youths and children are usually online for significant durations , and they enjoy the online mode , this can be a good channel to engage with them and create positive impact on their life in their formative age.
